Your personal workspace and team workspace are completely separate environments:

Creating Your Team Workspace

You can create a team workspace from two entry points:

Option 1: From the Workspace Switcher

Open the Switcher

Click the workspace switcher at the top of your chat interface.

Create New Workspace

Select “Create New Workspace” and enter your organization name.

Complete Payment

Process the $300/month payment to activate your workspace.

Invite Team Members

Add up to 4 additional members via email invitation.

Option 2: From Pricing/Upgrade Menu

Access Pricing

Click the hamburger menu (top right) and select “Upgrade” or “Pricing”.

Choose Teams Plan

Select the “Teams Plan” from the available options.

Complete Payment

Process payment — your workspace will be created automatically using your account name.

Invite Team Members

Add team members through the collaboration modal.
Important: You can only create one team workspace per account. If you need multiple teams, contact support.

Managing Team Members

Admin Capabilities

Team admins have full control over workspace management:
  • Invite new members (up to 5 total including admins)
  • Modify member roles (promote/demote admins)
  • Remove team members
  • Top up shared credits
  • Access usage and billing dashboard
You can designate multiple admins — they’ll all have the same management capabilities.

Member Capabilities

Members (non-admin) have full access to:
  • All Pro Mode features
  • Shared workspace projects
  • Custom agents and universal keys (within team workspace)
  • Collaborative project editing
Members cannot:
  • Access usage and billing information
  • Purchase additional credits
  • Invite or remove team members

Inviting Team Members

Access Team Settings

Navigate to “Settings” → “Team” (visible only after creating a workspace).

Send Invitations

Enter team member email addresses and click “Send Invite”.

Track Invitation Status

Invited members will receive:
  • Email notification with invitation link
  • In-app modal when they next log into Emergent

Invitation Responses

Team members can accept invitations at their convenience — pending invites persist until action is taken.

Switching Between Workspaces

Toggle instantly between your personal and team workspaces:
  • Click the workspace switcher at the top of your chat
  • Select your desired workspace from the dropdown
  • All projects, credits, and settings automatically switch to that context
Your personal workspace remains fully independent — projects and resources never mix between personal and team environments.

Settings & Management

Access workspace settings through Settings in the top-right menu:

Credits & Billing

Shared Credit Pool

  • Your team receives 1,250 credits per month
  • All team members draw from the same pool
  • Credits reset monthly
  • Only admins can purchase additional credits
Personal and team credits are separate — your personal credit balance does not affect team credits and vice versa.

Usage Dashboard (Admins Only)

Track how your team uses credits:
  • Credit consumption by project
  • Credit consumption by team member
  • Historical usage trends
  • Remaining balance alerts

Important Limitations

One Team Per User
Each account can only create one team workspace.
Maximum 5 Members
Teams are limited to 5 total members. For larger teams, contact support.
Cannot Delete Teams
Once payment is completed, you cannot delete your team workspace yourself.

Pending Workspaces

If you create a team but don’t complete payment:
  • Workspace appears as “Pending”
  • You can complete payment later
  • Team members cannot join until payment is processed
  • No access to team features until payment
Complete payment to unlock full collaboration — you can process payment anytime from the workspace switcher.

Yes. You can only create one team, but you can be invited to multiple teams as a member.
Only admins can top up shared credits. Members should notify admins when credits are low.
No. Personal workspaces are private. Only team workspace projects are shared.
